Actually thats not too difficult now i think theyve
put mirror/backup functions somewhere in MySQL, ill
have to check for you.
The only Problem would come from directly accessing
the SQL box from the outside network. The way i'd
thought about it was only one perl machine and the img
server would need a port forwarded to it, with
everything behind a NAT, therefore people cant try
and directly access the SQL from outside, an added
security advantage. Only the Perl machines would be
able to access the db as they would not have to be
routed to get to it, they are on the same network.
Anyway time for me to turn off my simple tcp routing
leymans terms for now, but im sure we could sort
something out.
