Since entries arrived unsolicited, I would imagine that the length will
be pretty much determined by the author... We're not a "conventional"
encyclopedia that commisions entries of particular lengths: we have to
take what people choose to provide.  

On some subjects we are also likely to receive multiple entries, of
varying length, and with different reading ages (and that's important).
But that's fine, it just gives the cataloging folks more to choose
from.
