I agree: reviews shouldn't be included with the actual article
(although author information definitely should).

No. This is meta-information which may change over time. For example,
it's not currently possible to put movies into books but it might be
at some later date. Saying ``this article can't go in a book'' is
predicting the future, and will probably get it wrong. This, like the
reviews and classifications, should be separate from the actual
article.
