[Bug-gnupedia] Summary

Okay, I figured I would summarize the rough consensus that seems to be
forming:

1. Both Nupedia and GNUpedia want to be able to share articles. Nupedia has
the lead here. This would imply that both share the same representational
system (XML, etc.).

2. Nupedia is a heavily peer-reviewed and editted collection designed to
produce something similar in style (though not necessarily in scope) to a
standard encyclopedia. One generally-accepted perspective that tries to be as
neutral as possible. GNUpedia would be complete uncensored and would turn
into something along the lines of Everything2, though with more structure and
depth.

Is this an accurate summary of where people are going?

[BTW, is www.nupedia.com even running? I go to the home page and see
"larry.bomis.com" in the page body. I go there and see the same thing.
What's up?]
