I don't think anybody sees one. (I hope) It is just good to air out
ideas and thoughts so everyone can get a feel of and compare the two
projects idealogies and methods. Clearly Nupedia has a more mature
process atm, which is both a major benefit, and a slight cost if
somebody finds themselves really not fitting with the flow of things. I
suspect the projects are very compatible to the point where fusing is
the best option, but everyone should discuss how they feel about this
first ;-)
Ultimately I like the idea that Nupedia fshapes the content, and
GNUpedia creates the free software that drives the system. (preferably,
imho, under a single project name, I prefer GNUpedia, but I am partial
to the GNU project).
