I'm not sure what you mean by 'censorship' -- that's a very
emotionally charged word.

We do put articles through a review process. To date, we have
not had *any* problems with people feeling that the review process
is constraining to them in terms of 'censorship'. For the most part,
the review process has improved articles in terms of readability,
details of content, etc.

We believe in "rough consensus and running code", if you see what
I mean.

We do anticipate that with respect to certain controversial subjects,
it will be difficult to get a single article to please all partisans.
In such a case, we will probably end up with a main article, introducing
the topic, and sidebars written by partisans.

Would your ideas count for anything at Nupedia? ABSOLUTELY! We
are a totally open project, and we welcome all volunteers. We
are constantly changing things at Nupedia, and fresh ideas would
be most appreciated.

As is common in volunteer projects, whoever does the work ends up
making the rules. So the best way to impact the project is to
simply come over and start impacting us. That's a healthy process.
