I don't know how much respect the implementors of gnupedia must pay to the
ideas of RMS in his announcement, but my take on the basic idea in the
announcement is that peer review of an article or official acceptance of it
by a well known organization may be sought, but official review should not
be required. The articles of best quality will naturally be referred to
most frequently over time. Further, articles may compete against one
another by referring to each other in order to point out each other's
mistakes.

A logical corollary is that an article should be accepted regardless of the
language in which it is submitted. Volunteers to translate articles should
be welcomed.
