How about using project base 'gtags.conf' with the 'default' label?

You can use 'gtags.conf' per project in GLOBAL-6.3 or later.

$ cp /usr/local/share/gtags/gtags.conf . # copy the template file

$ vi gtags.conf # edit the 'default' entry

$ global -u
