By the way, would you please wait to commit the code a little?
I would like to release GLOBAL-4.8.1 before your commit, because

1. Your patch contains large amount of code. It is desirable to have some
   time before public release.
2. The GLOBAL-4.8 has a severe bug that the -d option doesn't work.
   I cannot leave this trouble long.
   
I will release GLOBAL-4.8.1 in a couple of days. Could you commit your
code after that? Thank you.
