Hello, I am the maintainer of the global port for FreeBSD.
htag/htags.in contains @PERL@ but this string is not expanded (by
config.status?). The result is that after htags has run, cgi-bin/global.cgi
starts with ``#! @PERL@'' instead of the expected (say) ``#!
/usr/local/bin/perl''. This is a rather serious problem because it prevents
the web interface from working. You may want to fix this in the next release.
Thanks,
