PDF Formularies with GNU Ghostscript

Hello all,

I work in a research institute where we have a client who wants to code 
an open-source pdf viewer for windows that allows to fill formularies. I 
know from

(Search by "The PDF Effort" in the newsgroup)

that supporting PDF interactive properties was an objective for GNU 
Ghostscript. Could I know which is the status of this objective?
