Hi.

No, I haven't approved it.  I will not; that list is for people
who have contributed enough that I've invited them to join.
(This isn't pesonal, it's simply how I run the list.)

Reviewing the archives won't give you any clue either; the discussion
was high level and has mostly been repeated on the bug list.

If you're seriously interested in what's involved in MPFR maintainance,
just start looking at the code.  Feel free to ask me questions, privately
if you like.
