Follow-up Comment #6, bug #33207 (project findutils): I went back to the big machine. My first conclusion. The problem of incomplete index occurs on 64bit as well on 32bit. The symptoms on the 64bit-machine are more. There is a lot of memory used, but not more than available, I don't see swapping-parties or out-of-memory-kills. lsof | grep find shows a lot of is own libs and two of the scanned directories. one dir and one of its subdir this subdir has 134610 files (file #23415, file #23416) _______________________________________________________ Additional Item Attachment: File name: ps-axuwwwf-output-110517100542.log Size:2 KB File name: top.txt Size:1 KB _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?33207> _______________________________________________ Nachricht geschickt von/durch Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
