_______________________________________________________
Details:
configure supports both of these flags
--enable-d_type-optimization
--enable-d_type-optimisation
but only the British spelling version of
--enable-leaf-optimisation
which is very confusing.
If a user misspells the flag, configure reports no error,
but the flag has no effect.
If you are only going to support one spelling,
then the American spelling should rule (sorry, Brits!)
