Details:

Compiling findutils like this ...

./configure -C CFLAGS="-Wall -Wextra -Wendif-labels -Wshadow -Wpointer-arith
-Wstrict-prototypes -Wold-style-definition -Wmissing-prototypes
-Wmissing-declarations " CC=gcc-3.4


... generates many wanrings.  These should be fixed, or at least most of them
should be.
