GNU xargs version 4.1.7
% find .gnome* -type f | xargs grep whatever
xargs: unmatched single quote
Exit 1
Because, in their infinitely questionable wisdom, the Gnome kids
decided to create this file name by default:
.gnome-desktop/jwz's Home
There's no reason that xargs shouldn't be able to deal with this.
Also, the --help message doesn't end in a newline.
