bug in mv causes mv core dump.

Subject: bug in mv causes mv core dump.

I don't know if this has been reported before, soooo....
Here's a copy of what happened.  Note that when I ran the command
without the ~, it operated just fine.

address@hidden local]# mv include/php/ ~/include.php.old
mv: basename.c:67: base_name: Assertion `all_slashes || *(p - 1) != '/''

failed.
Aborted (core dumped)
address@hidden local]# mv include/php/ /root/include.php.old

this happened while in dir /usr/local running as user root.

--version reports 4.0x
