Change print order and allow overlapping partitions |

Hello everyone,
I'm interested in two fairly simple features that seems missing and
would make my life easier, and many other people's too I think.
* Printing partitions in disk order instead of table order,
with a command line option. This way it is easier to spot holes and
overlapping partitions
* Being able to create overlapping partitions, with a command line
option and maybe a warning. I came to desire this while I was
manipulating the protective MBR in a GPT-partitioned disk: I wished
to keep the first all-encompassing partition while adding another
one starting at a specific point to chainload another MBR. But fdisk
sternly refused.
It seems to me fdisk lacks these features. Am I correct? In that case I
can add them.
Warmly,
Andrea Monaco
