Details:

got the following with all versions of enscript > 1.6.4:

$:~> enscript --version | head -n1
GNU enscript 1.6.5.1
$:~> wc -mcl test.txt 
 1 91 91 test.txt
$:~> enscript test.txt -o test.ps
[ 1 pages * 1 copy ] left in test.ps
Segmentation fault

For system informations see the attached config.log, gdb backtrace attached
as well.
