help needed compiling on solaris 2.6

[Tyler Riddle]

I am trying to compile dumb on my sun workstation
running solaris 2.6

When trying to compile the x11_video.c file I get
tons of errors, such as:

/usr/openwin/include/X11/Xutil.h:903: ANSI C++ forbids
declaration `XXorRegion' with no type

The entry in the file goes:

extern XXorRegion(
#if NeedFunctionPrototypes
    Region              /* sra */,
    Region              /* srb */,
    Region              /* dr_return */
#endif
);

I'm pretty lost, I realize this is some problem with
the solaris includes but I can't figure out whats
going on.
