I suspect for the second and later passes that neither time nor amount recovered is a good measure of what has yet to be done. Would it be possible to add an extra line for these passes showing how many problem areas there were at the start of the pass, and how many have been processed?
Interesting idea, thanks. Each pass processes a certain kind of area; non-tried, non-trimmed... So showing the total size of the corresponding areas at the start of each pass may give a good estimate of the amount of work done by the current pass.
Meanwhile you can estimate the amount of work remaining for a given pass looking at the current size of the corresponding areas. For example the size of non-tried while copying, or the size of non-trimmed while trimming.
Best regards, Antonio.
