[Bug-ddrescue] DDrescue - assistance

Hi All,

We have been running DDRescue on failed HP 3PAR  volume (CPG ) to recover data 
following HP 3PAR Disk outage.

Slow running
DDRescue initially was averaging  of 5-6% completion until it reached 54% and 
then it slowed down drastically.
After reaching 54% the recovery rate has dropped to 0.07% per day. There has 
been no change in the speed of recovery since then and it is still crawling in 
the slowest pace for last 30 days.

We need your help in understanding, why DDRescue running very slow and if there 
is anything we can do to seep up its recovery rate.

We are  a healthcare organisation and the data we trying to recover will have 
patient care impact
