First up I would just like to thank you for creating this program.
You are welcome. :-)
I was just wondering if I can request one feature, or if there is a way of doing this already. Is there anyway for ddrescue to recover an entire directory rather than individual files?
Ddrescue is usually used to copy whole devices or partitions, but all the files in a directory can be copied using, for example, a 'for' loop:
for i in * ; do ddrescue $i /somedir/$i /somedir/$i.log ; done
Best regards, Antonio.
