Hello,
First up I would just like to thank you for creating this program. It is a
wonderful and powerful tool!
I was just wondering if I can request one feature, or if there is a way of
doing this already. Is there anyway for ddrescue to recover an entire directory
rather than individual files?
My photo directory has been mildly affected by bad sectors on my hard drive.
Whenever I try to simply move the folder to a new hard drive, my Mac struggles
and stops. There are probably only one or two damaged files however these files
stop the whole process. This means I have to manually go through the folder,
ignoring the damaged files and then later recovering them with ddrescue (which
it has done wonderfully). However if I could automate the process and just
recover an entire directory, it would be easier.
Thank you for your time and for this amazing utility! Best wishes,
Dean.
