Re: [Bug-ddrescue] Slowness during recovery

I know this is not exactly ddrescue related but it does have to do
with getting back to the point of using ddrescue.
As an update to my old post I had to find a new computer with an intel
chip to run ubuntu and a new ddrescue with -d.

I have the new version of ddrescue compiled and I get ready to test it
out but find that the spare external HD is hfsplus formated
and that it does not have write access to it. So great. I am now
trying to get it to that point.

I am running this code to mount and unmount and no matter what I try I
can not get the external HD thats hfsplus to give me write access.
And booting from a live cd on a mac pro g5 intel duo core.

Code:
sudo umount /media/OSX

sudo mount -t hfsplus /dev/sdc3 /media/OSX -o uid=1000,gid=1000,umask=07
I have tried umask=0777 and 02 002
gid at 1001 and 0 and 100
I am sooo lost at this point and need some sleep.
