Initial Comment:
With -Werror, DDD fails to compile on the IA64
("Itanium") architecture, with errors like this:

I'm including an experimental Debianisation patch for
DDD; I'm not sure it actually fixes the underlying
problems, but at least it points out where DDD 3.3.1
has problems on IA64.
