URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?20224> Summary: Problem with space in username for login Project: Concurrent Versions System Submitted by: thn_saeab Submitted on: onsdag 2007-06-20 den 16:29 Category: Bug Fix (patch attached) Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: Fixed Release: None Fixed Feature Release: None _______________________________________________________ Details: If I make a <<cvs -d ":pserver:user name@fileserver/repo" login>> it succeeds and username and password is stored in ~/.cvspass. A later <<cvs -d ":pserver:user name@fileserver/repo" co something>> fails becuase it could not pickup the scrambled password from ~/.cvspass. The parsing of the ~/.cvspass file fails (without any message) if the username contains a space. The attached patch fixes this and everything works. This have been tested on FreeBSD 6.2 RELEASE with cvs 1.11.17-FreeBSD (client/server) cvs 1.11.22 (client/server) _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: onsdag 2007-06-20 den 16:29 Name: login.c.diff Size: 1 kB By: thn_saeab <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=13115> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?20224> _______________________________________________ Meddelandet skickades via/av Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
