compilation error on tru64

Hi i'm getting the following compiler error when compiling glob.c
source='glob.c' object='glob.o' libtool=no DEPDIR=.deps depmode=tru64
/bin/ksh ../build-aux/depcomp cc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I..
-I/usr/local/include -Ino/include -g -c glob.c
cc: Error: glob.c, line 244: In the definition of the function "rpl_glob",
the promoted type of pattern is incompatible with the type of the
corresponding parameter in a prior declaration. (promotmatch)
