The 'cvs history' command failes if the client side uses cvs version > 1.11.7
and the server uses cvs version < 1.11.7
Cause: The 'P' record type is not known to the server, so it aborts.
Why not fetch the failure, and send server cmd again without P, so it will be
backward compatible? Probably many reps will not emideately be updated.
