|behavior, but you could certainly add another 'rcs' option if you

|'rcs -o'. Then you wouldn't have to mess with RCS.
As I think Larry Jones already pointed out, `cvs admin -m' (and rcs -m)
allows for changing old log messages if the original poster still wants
to append the old log messages to the first retained one as originally
stated.
