Hello, I ran into the following problem with "your" current cvs client:
484803 cvs-1.11.5.zip 2003-01-20 dprice 9e88e20aebcb8443d627239b18047e9b
Windows binary for CVS version 1.11.5 in ZIP format.
Here is, what I get when I cleanly checkout "CVSROOT":
SERVER Linux (CVSROOT)
pserver 1.11 --> checkoutlist,v [...] date 2003.04.19.13.57.09
CLIENT Linux (CVSROOT/CVS/Entries)
cvs 1.11.5 --> /checkoutlist/1.1/Sat Apr 19 13:57:09 2003//
Eclipse 2.1 --> /checkoutlist/1.1/Sat Apr 19 13:57:09 2003//
CLIENT Windows 2000 (CVSROOT/CVS/Entries)
cvs 1.11.5 --> /checkoutlist/1.1/Sat Apr 19 12:57:09 2003// (***)
Eclipse 2.1 --> /checkoutlist/1.1/Sat Apr 19 13:57:09 2003//
NetBeans 34 --> /checkoutlist/1.1/Sat Apr 19 13:57:09 2003//
As I live in Germany (time zone GMT+01) and Windows expects the
hardware clock running in local time, the command line client seems
to shift the time by another hour. This results in the (***) gap.
So, I finally tried the CVSNT client from http://www.cvsnt.org:
CLIENT Windows 2000 (CVSROOT/CVS/Entries)
cvsnt 2.0.2 --> /checkoutlist/1.1/Sat Apr 19 13:57:09 2003//
And here the time stamp is correct.
Hope this "bug-report" helps,
Christian
