cvs 1.11.2 - never ending operations

Hi,
I've upgraded CVS server on RH 7.2 from 1.11.1p1 to 1.11.2.
Installation of rpm package reported collision with older version, therefore
I used '--force' option to override already installed package (1.11.1p1).
Installation succeeded, 'cvs -v' reported new version.
But, when work from different clients (Linux, Windows) with remote
repository started non of 'cvs co/update' operations has finished by itself.
It had to be interrupted at the end. Each operation was done, but it seemed
client and server would wait on each other forever to finish (exit) with
operation.
