Which output? Different things use different separators. Looking at
the message thread, it looks like you're specifically referring to ``cvs
status'' output, which always uses 67 character separators; the 73
character case "can't happen" (but apparently does). I can only assume
that something funky is going on, either in the CVS server or in the
transport channel. Do you have a server where you can reliably
reproduce the problem?
