>Severity: non-critical
>Priority: low
>Category: cvs
>Class: sw-bug
>Release: 1.11.1
>Environment:
System: Linux bashful.cdf.toronto.edu 2.2.19-6.2.10 #1 Tue Oct 9 11:29:44 EDT
2001 i686 unknown
Architecture: i686
>Description:
When logging into a pserver, after a command "cvs login", I get the following
error message:
Logging in to :pserver:gnus@cvs.gnus.org:2401/usr/local/cvsroot
CVS password: <clickety click>
cvs login: failed to open /u/agenkin/.cvspass for reading: No such file
or directory
cvs [login aborted]: fatal error: exiting
As you see, instead of creating the .cvspass file (as CVS used to do before),
it bails out.
>How-To-Repeat:
see above
>Fix:
