Dear CVS Hackers,
I stepped on an assertion failure when trying to checkout a GNU Go
version by its release tag.
I am running SuSE Linux 6.2 (on an Athlon K6-II), gcc version egcs-2.91.66,
cvs version 1.11.1p1 (client/server), I am working without write access
to the repository (anonymous cvs login).
Tell me if you need more details.
