Preserving execute permissions is a feature that was added by Sun in 1986.

CSSC is not a complete SCCS reimplementation and CSSC in special does not
implement all useful Sun extension even though it implements at least one bug
from Sun SCCS (a missing newline while printing flags).

If you like to get all know useful extensions, I recommend to use standard
SCCS from:

        http://sccs.berlios.de/

        ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/sccs/

It is true OpenSource Since December 2006 and has been ported to all major
platforms in early 2007.
