Possible bug in the expr command

Hi

I've tried the command:
$ expr 4 * 5
and it returned an syntax error
But all the other arithmetic commands are working properly, like:
$ expr 4 + 5
or:
$ expr 4 / 5

so, if you could send me a feedback about it, I'd apreciate
