Thanks for the bug report. However, bug-textutils is now an obsolete
alias for bug-coreutils, and the 5.2.1 has been obsolete for more than a
year. The latest stable coreutils is 5.97; please consider upgrading to
see if your problem has been fixed. If it still exists with up-to-date
sources, then repeat your bug report, perhaps with an actual test case
file that causes the fault. But my guess is that the problem will go
away, since NEWS documents that in 5.90,
csplit could produce corrupt output, given input lines longer than 8KB
