Ohhh, I grepped the TODO for "fold" before reporting it but found no match. :)
Btw "wc" is already multibyte aware, isn't is? It has a "-m" to count
characters, and "-L" also takes multibyte characters in account and counts
them as their wcwidth.
I'll check for patches in some distros, thanks for the idea.
