ls

Hi,

(first, thank you for the marvellous gnu/linux system. I love it).

I've been trying to find where the command 'ls' gets its color
information. I can find this only for some distributions
(where it can be in .dir_colors), but not for the one I'm using
(debian). 

Is it possible to add this information in the description of
the option 

--color

in the ls man pages?
