   I figure if there are so few people using the Hurd that I can't
   even get a guest account somewhere -- and considering the few
   problem reports I get for Hurd systems -- then it's not worth the
   trouble.

Then I might volunteer to test releases more frequently if an CVS
would be put up on Savannah (I heard that there are rumours that this
should happen soon, is that true?).  The reason is that it is quite
hard to see what exactly has changed between releases, doing diff's is
quite an annoyance...  Not to speak of just getting an updated
release.
