Thanks for the patches. I have applied 1. Alas, I cannot apply
2, or this would break for others. Problem 2 has cropped up
before and I thought it had been fixed, but now I see that
these files are just getting deleted. I'm not sure why, but
I'll see if I can make a workaround

The current version of Bison is 1.35 I think.
