I encountered a similar problem on another platform.  In src/misc.c
around line 287, there's an ioctl() which is used to get the list of
interfaces:

  if (ioctl(fd, SIOCGIFCONF, &list) == -1 ||
                                (list.ifc_len < (sizeof(struct ifreq))))

Try changing SIOCGIFCONF to OSIOCGIFCONF and see if that helps.
