Unfortunately,
looking at the Online Gentoo Package Database,
there's is none track of package status integration

http://packages.gentoo.org/package/sys-devel/bison?arches=prefix&full_cat

i'll try first upgrading other parts of the system and then retry,
if i found again problems i'll ask the package maintainer why does he
didn't put any status info and why he didn't upgrade to the last
version
