--no-parser option is silently ignored

As far as I can tell, the --no-parser option to bison
is silently ignored in all versions >= 1.50. I've checked 1.50, 1.75,
1.875 and 1.875c. I tried getting the CVS srcs but I got a timeout
connecting to the server.
