Thanks for the patch!  I don't have time to read it now, but 1. I need
documentation for it, i.e., the ChangeLog that goes with it, 2. if it
is big, I need you to sign papers to the FSF, 3. I think it is not
relative to the current state of CVS Bison since I think I saw fguard
which no longer exists.

I won't look at it before January.  Are you sure it is worth the
trouble?  My opinion is that 1. nobody uses those tables to parse, and
2. those who do certainly process these tables before using them.  Let
it be for bsearch or some other method they might want to use.
