I couldn't find similar explanations or examples for glob operators (*, ?, [, @(), etc.) of ${var#pat}, ${var%pat}, and ${var/pat} and anchors # and % of ${var/#pat} and ${var/%pat}, but maybe we can have similar examples also for those pattern strings.
