Yes, I would love for bash's C-y and C-k to yank and cut to the
X-window buffers. Make it a set -o option that while perhaps not
turned on by default, at least is available to the user on future
standard GNU/Linux distributions.
It would save me from reaching for the mouse every 30 seconds.
Without it it's like I'm using "version 7 /bin/sh +i"
Oh, and by the way,
$ /bin/sh +i
sh-2.05a$ echo $-
himBH
can't turn off -i.
