If you have installed this patch
http://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=auctex.git;a=patch;h=e4cad1c2af81715a4bfb18d9338886e040fc49c2,
you should call `TeX-atril-sync-view', that is the default choice when
you issue C-c C-c or C-c C-v if you had selected Atril as default
viewer.
