Just upgraded to Trusty from precise and now, when there is even the
simplest error in a LaTeX file, and I hit "ctrl-C `" to view it, I get
"error occurred after last TeX file closed". I can induce this error
by adding a simple misspelling to a correctly written (and
correctly compiling) Latex file, like \gamma --> \gammma.
